Participate
Our research examines the origins and development of morality. We study babies, toddlers, and children ranging from 3 months to 10 years of age. We would love for your family to participate!
There are two ways to do so: online and in person.
Online studies are conducted via Zoom. They are short and fun (5-15 minutes), and your family will receive a gift (e.g., Amazon gift card) for participating!
In-person studies involve a visit to our lab located on Emory University’s campus. We are open for appointments weekdays between 9am and 5pm with some weekend options. Visits last about 30 minutes and are scheduled at your convenience. We also provide free parking and free in-center babysitting for any siblings. Children will receive a small prize and certificate as a reward for participating.
The exact details of our studies vary, but all of them are designed to be like fun, simple games. Your child might watch a puppet show, answer some questions about a story they are told, or play on an iPad while interacting with a friendly researcher.
